As far as the organization is concerned, the firm is launched by technocrats.  We possess a long      and rich experience in marketing, manufacture and purchase of chemicals, especially Fine and Specialty stuffs.   A conglomerate of technocrats and experienced commercial acumen makes us distinguished agents as compared to others.  Our efforts of sourcing are supported by a panel of technical experts.  Hence incoming enquiry is analysed technically, launched only to specific vendors capable of honoring it. It is because we are aware of chemistry followed at various vendors.  This procedure of technical analysis distinguishes ourselves from rest of the sourcing agents, who merely follow the path shown by the directories, which, we believe, anybody in the world does easily.

RICH CLIENTELE:

On the client front, we already have a handful of them spread across the globe, including the important ones in Germany, UK, Belgium, Japan and USA. These are 25 in number benefited from their association with us.  Our modus operandi is such that co-operation with the client begins right from the instance of enquiry till the order is wholly honored.  Needless to mention that it involves pre-shipment samples, their analysis in world-renowned, independent laboratories on actual cost basis as also the much-needed vendor validation on the behalf of the client. The latter includes technical as well as financial assessment of the vendor.

The co-operation continues for any post-delivery claims, rejections etc, whereby these clients find our presence in India as highly helpful.  In short, we prompt you to leave your purchasing head-aches to us and act as an exclusive Buying Agents for you.  In case you extend us an opportunity, we would prove that, in sourcing aspects others are left far behind by us.

The basic difference lies in the fact that others are loyal to suppliers, whereas we act on behalf of our overseas client and remain committed to them.  The end result is that our clients get chemicals sourced at best prices.  It is better illustrated from the following, which is a typical case in this part of the world:

"A client, say you, indicates in absolute confidence, a price of US$185.00 per kg for 2-amino-2'-fluoro-5-bromobenzophenone and launches its enquiry to us and another agent (say A).  The material is available @US$110.00 per kg. A quotes you US$160.00 per kg, that is best compared to your indication.  A, however, shares equally the additional US$50.00 per kg with its supplier i.e. they enjoy each US$25.00 per kg without any knowledge to you."

It indicates that you, in fact, pays more for the material.  On the other hand, we do not follow these trends ; our business strategy and ethics do not permit such practices ; we remain loyal to you and will quote US$110.00 per kg or even better. Because you pay us the professional fees and, therefore, we are morally bound to you.


COMMITTED VENDORS:

We are further supported by an already 200-strong vendor force, which in turn is benefited by their association with us.  Our sourcing operations, being exclusively for exports, attract not only small and medium scale firms but also big giants from public and private sectors in India.  They are further drawn into association because of our policy of transparent communications.   We let the potential vendor know, even at enquiry stage, who the customer is.  At the same time, we do follow the practice of not mentioning in the enquiry about the overseas customer on the specific request of the latter.

Purchase orders and LCs by the client are always drawn in favour of the vendors and not us. Please note that this particular strategy puts us in front of all other existing sourcing agents from India.   As a result, our vendor list continues to expand.


CUSTOM SYNTHESES UNDER SECRECY AGREEMENT:

In case an overseas client requires certain chemicals synthesised from a particular vendor under secrecy agreement, we are always prepared to act as mentor for such arrangements.  In such cases, we do safeguard interest of our overseas client by encouraging the vendors to enter into such an agreement, and secondly, honors it.  We have done it many times so-far.  In such cases, if vendor receives enquiry of the same chemical covered under secrecy agreement from any other party, it will be faxed to you immediately for your information by the vendor without replying to the enquiring party.


HARD-TO-FIND CHEMICALS:

We specialize in sourcing of such chemicals due to our technical expertise. We follow chemistry, whereas others merely follow directories.

 

SOURCE OF INCOME:

You would note from the above that our agency is inclined towards offering services to overseas client by acting on behalf of them.  Therefore,  we charge our overseas clients @3% of every invoice value in order to meet expenses.  It does not, anyway, attract any agreement.  On the other hand, others charge commission to the vendors. This difference has been marked by some overseas parties to us by urging to make our living by charging vendors in India.  However, we tend to stick to our policy.  We shall not entertain any enquiry from a potential client unless it agrees to pay us @3%.
